What We Do

Who we are

Scientista McGill is a chapter of the Scientista Foundation, an organization that empowers pre-professional women in science, tech, engineering, and math (STEM) through content, communities, and conferences, and currently the largest network of campus women across STEM disciplines.

Annual Symposium

Since 2023, Scientista started hosting an annual symposium, where we feature and launch forward the work and journeys of women and others of underrepresented genders in STEM through keynote speakers, panel discussions, poster presentations, 3-minute thesis competitions, networking events and more. In 2024, we will be hosting our Leading Beyond Boundaries 2nd annual symposium. Stay tuned!

Mentorship

We host year-long programs that match graduate mentors with undergraduate mentees in similar fields. Members profit from exclusive social and educational events, such as laboratory tours, CV writing workshops, & more.
